EndPovertyEdmonton is honored to have partnered with the Canadian Mental Health Association- Edmonton Region and with BetaCityYeg to create the first web app of its kind in Canada-

Edmontonians in need now have a new way to find immediate support for their basic needs like food, shelter, or mental health support. provides real time information on nearby community resources. Users can search for services sorted into nine different categories – including clothing and essentials, health and medical, legal help, and family services. The app provides up to date information on what services are open and available. It even gives users distance and directions on how to get to what they need from wherever they are in the city.

From a partnership perspective, Linkyeg addresses a multitude of priorities within the EndPovertyEdmonton Strategy, specifically:

#18 Help people navigate systems in order to access resources and opportunities.

#19 Improve timely access to mental health and wellness services

#27 Keep the individual at the centre in providing care, services and supports

Right now we are asking Edmontonians to help LinkYeg’s development. We want to hear from people about how it works, what’s missing, and how we can adapt and improve it. If you have any feedback that you would like to provide please use the Feedback page on the LinkYeg website.
