Public Release of Two EndPovertyEdmonton Related Reports

Posted: Feb 02, 2017

The Edmonton Social Planning Council's Profile of Poverty in Edmonton 2017 Update, which provides a statistical snapshot of poverty data in Edmonton. It is an update to the 2015 Profile of Poverty. This report updates many of the poverty trends and challenges identified two years ago within the context of broader social and economic trends in our community. It also updates the actions the City could take within its jurisdiction to help work towards eliminating poverty and in keeping with the Poverty Roadmap approved by City Council.

The End Poverty Action Guide for Religious and Spiritual Communities, co-produced by EndPovertyEdmonton, the Anglican Foundation and the Capital Region Interfaith Housing Initiative. The Action Guide will provide real-life stories from a variety of faith communities in Edmonton that will highlight how both individuals and communities can take action to make a difference in the fight against poverty.
